Welcome to the 2nd Annual Burns' Dinner hosted by The Mucky Duck Pub LLC. in Ames, Iowa! All are welcome, including well-behaved children!

Burns' Dinners have been a staple of Scottish culture around the world since the death of the "Ploughman's Poet" - celebrating his life and works every year with a full program of Bagpipes, men and ladies alike in tartan, poetry, Scotch, a Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee), and of course...Haggis!

We've partnered with the Holiday Inn Express in Ames for a block of rooms for the weekend (Friday & Saturday nights). Call 515-232-2300 and indicate you are calling for the Burns' Dinner block. The rate of $110.00 per night (+ tax) is guaranteed until 29 December 2017. (A shuttle will be available to/from the hotel and venue. Advanced registration is preferred, please note this when you purchase your tickets.)

Group Discounts for the event are available. For further information, please contact the event coordinator prior to purchasing your tickets!

***Anyone considering attending either session of the Midwest Highland Intensive Discussion & Workshop (MHI) this same weekend - we are offering a discount on your Burns' Dinner tickets, if your MHI tickets are purchased first. Follow this link for further information:
